Loom

Overview

The Loom is a device built by Ada-1 in the Tower during Season of the Splicer. Ada-1 used unique Braytech secrets to create it, and it produces Synthweave, which converts armor into Universal Ornaments through Armor Synthesis. Exotic armor cannot be converted.

Armor Synthesis Introduction

The Armor Synthesis Introduction quest starts with Ada-1 in the Tower Annex. Players collect the required components on Europa, including a processing unit from the Bray Exoscience facility in the west of Cadmus Ridge, and hand it to Ada-1 in the Tower. Ada-1 then sells Synthcord for a 10,000 Glimmer bounty, and the quest ends at the Loom in the Annex with a Synthweave Bolt containing 5 Synthweave per class.
