== Summary ==

A disoriented Uldren Sov recounts fragmented, dreamlike memories to Mara Sov. Pressed on whether he visited the heart, he calls it "a seed... left behind to grow", a bait that tests those who would destroy what they do not understand. Mara is angry at his disobedience and questions his devotion; Uldren feels isolated despite professing loyalty to her.
