Alak'nar, Retainer of Savathûn

Alak'nar, Retainer of Savathûn is a Hive Knight of the Lucent Brood, imprisoned in the Altars of Summoning by Savathûn. It first appeared in Season of the Witch and is met in Mission: Invoke, as well as a possible encounter in the Altars of Summoning activity.

Immunity and Tribute

The boss summons reinforcements throughout the fight, and their number and strength rise with the chosen difficulty. Each time it drops to one-third health, it activates an Immunity Shield and cannot take damage.

To remove the shield, defeat the Tribute Bearers (Tribute Bearer Wizards) in the arena to collect Tributes. Bring 3 Tributes to a lit Totem and deposit them, which disengages the shield. After the shield has been removed twice, Alak'nar stays vulnerable until it is defeated.
