Tribute Bearers

Tribute Bearers are Hive enemies in three forms: Knights, Wizards and Ogres. Knights carry an Arc Absorption shield and Wizards carry a Solar Absorption shield. They first appeared in The Arrival in The Witch Queen, where the Tributes they carry are needed to progress the mission.

In the Alak'nar fight, Wizard-type Tribute Bearers spawn around the arena. Guardians kill them, collect three Tributes per shield phase and deposit them at a lit totem. Depositing the Tributes disengages Alak'nar's Immunity Shield. After this happens twice, the boss is left vulnerable until defeated.
