History of Anti-Extinction Gauntlets

Overview

The Anti-Extinction Gauntlets are the Titan gauntlets of the Anti-Extinction set. Its Book of Departures quote, Canto VII, reads: "The instinct to migrate comes to many at once, without warning. Unlike birds, we must make preparations—we must make our own wings."

The Anti-Extinction set is Dead Orbit faction armor. Hunter pieces are the Anti-Extinction Mask, Anti-Extinction Grasps and Anti-Extinction Legs. Titan pieces are the Anti-Extinction Helm, Anti-Extinction Gauntlets and Anti-Extinction Greaves. Warlock pieces are the Anti-Extinction Hood, Anti-Extinction Gloves and Anti-Extinction Boots. The chest pieces are the Anti-Extinction Vest, Anti-Extinction Plate and Anti-Extinction Robes. The class items are the Stella Incognita Cloak, Stella Incognita Mark and Stella Incognita Bond.

Acquisition

Dead Orbit faction gear. Pieces drop from Dead Orbit Engrams and are offered by Arach Jalaal in rank-up packages as Dead Orbit reputation rises. In Season 2, the price for pledged Guardians was 4 to 10 engrams, 20 to 25 Legendary Shards and 10 Dead Orbit Tokens.
