History of Arbalest Catalyst

Arbalest Catalyst is the catalyst triumph for the Exotic Arbalest linear fusion rifle. Defeat 500 combatants with Arbalest to complete it.

== How to get and complete ==

The catalyst drops randomly from playlist activities (Nightfall strikes, Crucible and Gambit) while Arbalest is equipped; it cannot drop otherwise. This is per guides written when it was added, so current sourcing may differ.

Once you have it, defeat 500 combatants with Arbalest. No activity restriction applies. A high-enemy-count activity such as Dares of Eternity is faster.

== What it does ==

The catalyst adds the Genesis perk: breaking a combatant's shield with Arbalest fills the magazine from reserves, and magazine size increases by 1. One source also lists a Disruption Break effect (enemies briefly take extra kinetic damage after a shield break); TheGamer lists only Genesis.

Arbalest is notable against shielded enemies and Unstoppable Champions.
