History of Arc 3.0

Arc 3.0 is the overhaul of the Arc subclass in Destiny 2 that launched in Season of Plunder (Season 18) in August 2022. It rebuilt Arc around fast, close-range play and brought it in line with the Stasis and Strand subclass systems, adding Aspects, Fragments and new keywords.
Overview
The central buff is Amplified. Guardians become Amplified after rapidly defeating targets with Arc damage, which increases movement speed and weapon handling. A short sprint while Amplified grants a further speed boost and a PvE damage resistance buff.
Keywords
- Blind is a debuff that disrupts enemies. Hunter's Lethal Current melee on a jolted target blinds it, and Titan's Flashbang grenade fires an extra blind impulse on its first bounce.
- Jolt is a debuff that causes jolted enemies to send out periodic chain lightning to nearby enemies. Hunter's Tempest Strike and Lethal Current jolt targets, and Titan's Lightning grenade jolts on impact.
- Ionic Traces became available to all three classes, not only Warlocks.
Aspects
Each class gained three Aspects:
- Hunter: Flow State, Lethal Current and Tempest Strike.
- Titan: Juggernaut, Knockout and Touch of Thunder.
- Warlock: Arc Soul, Electrostatic Mind and Lightning Surge.
Fragments
All classes share one pool of 14 Fragments, including Amplitude, Beacons, Discharge, Feedback, Shock and Volts. Players buy them from Ikora Rey in the Tower.
Supers
- Hunter: The Arc Staff Super lets the Hunter block and deflect gunfire. Gathering Storm throws the staff into the ground, causing a damaging burst that jolts nearby enemies. Hunters also regained their Blink ability with Arc 3.0.
- Titan: Fist of Havoc is a leaping ground slam with an AOE burst and a lingering Arc field. Thundercrash is an aerial dive that ends in a large Arc explosion.
- Warlock: Chaos Reach fires concentrated Arc beams from the hands. Stormtrance lets the Warlock float and zap a forward cone, with shockwave damage below and a brief teleport.
Trivia
Further Arc changes came with later expansions, so later patches may have changed these abilities.
