Gathering Storm

Overview

Gathering Storm is the Arc Super for Hunters, introduced with the Arc 3.0 subclass update. The Hunter leaps and throws the Arc Staff into the ground or an enemy. It releases an Arc pulse that damages nearby enemies, then a large lightning strike creates a damage field around the staff that lasts a few seconds.

The staff can stick to surfaces or targets, so it works as a throwable area-damage super in both PvE and PvP.

Build notes

Raiju's Harness is the Exotic chest armor that synergises with Gathering Storm. It generates Super energy from kills on enemies affected by Jolt or Blind, which helps Arcstrider builds use the super more often.

Notes

The Raiju's Harness energy gain was retuned in the December 10 patch (8.1.5.1), which changed how much energy is granted per enemy type.
