History of Backfang

Backfang is a Legendary Arc Glaive with a Rapid-Fire Frame, in the Energy slot.

Overview

Destinypedia says it debuted in Episode: Heresy; the Game Wiki lists Season 26. Game Wiki curated roll: Supercooled Accelerator, Swap Mag, Impulse Amplifier, Adagio, Gun and Run. Flavor text is attributed to The Drifter.

Acquisition

Both sources list Gambit (Game Wiki adds rank-up packages from the Drifter).

The two opened sources (Destinypedia and the Destiny Game Wiki) disagree on some details such as the season of introduction, and neither states whether the weapon can be crafted or has an Adept version, so those are treated as not stated. Bungie's in-game source text reads "Random Perks: This item cannot be reacquired from Collections."
