Balthazar

Overview

Balthazar is an unpartnered Ghost who appeared with Peach at a lecture on the Traveler given at the Peregrine Institute of Higher Learning, titled "Ghost Stories: Interviews with Two Ghosts of the Traveler." He is affiliated with the Vanguard and lives in the Last City.

Beliefs

Balthazar calls the Traveler his mother and believes she is divine. He holds that each Ghost was created for one specific Guardian, that the two complete each other, and that he is destined to find his own. He claims to remember being inside the Traveler, which Ghosts call the Womb. If he never finds his Guardian, he has faith in the Traveler's plan.

Peach disagreed with many of these views in the lecture, including the idea that the Traveler chose Guardians for Ghosts.
