Beacon

Beacons are a Forest of Echoes mechanic. The first beacon sits in the cathedral ahead, on the right, and must be aligned before the Forest's progression continues.

Aligning beacons also leads to True Sight. Return to the start of the Forest and activate the True Sight artifact on the suspended island with a large statue on the left, then cross the platforms that appear and reclaim the True Sight buff on the floating island. True Sight reveals data caches, and seeing them requires the Frequency Echoes upgrade on the Wayfinder's Compass. The first data cache, In Memory, is on the far side of the statue from the artifact.
