Besurith

Besurith is one of Crota's daughters, a Hive leader who first appears in Shadowkeep's In the Deep mission. She is one of four sisters, alongside Hashladûn, Kinox and Voshyr, who led the Hidden Swarm on the Moon after Crota's death.

Overview

The sisters kept their faith in Oryx after his death. Because no successor had emerged, they planned to resurrect him as a Nightmare, believing it was the only way to save the Hidden Swarm. When Akrazul's rampage broke out in the Pit fights for the vacant Osmium Throne, Besurith urged the sisters to use the chaos to eliminate their rivals.

In the Deep

Besurith guarded the Cryptoglyph deep in the Catacombs to protect the artifact for her sisters' plan. When the Guardian reached the deepest part of the Catacombs, she attacked personally to keep the Cryptoglyph from them, and she was killed. The artifact was then taken so that Eris Morn could forge equipment protecting Guardians from Nightmares.
