History of Blackened Forest

The Blackened Forest is a wilderness region in the European Dead Zone on Earth, reached through Quarantine Sector 236. It has been warped by the corrupted energy of the Shard of the Traveler. The enemies here are the House of Dusk and the Fallen.

The area is first visited in the Red War story mission Spark. The Guardian travels there to investigate the Shard, where the Ghost identifies the Traveler's Shard, and the Guardian regains Light from a pure fragment.
