History of Blighted Seekers

Blighted Seekers are projectiles created by the Barrow-Dyad, an Exotic Strand submachine gun in Destiny 2. They are distinct from the standard Seeker enemies.

Overview

The Barrow-Dyad builds up blight whenever it deals damage. Reloading converts the stored blight into Blighted Seekers, which track targets and deal additional damage. A maximum of six can be active at a time, and the actual number depends on how much blight was generated.

Trait

The Taken Divergence trait helps build blight. Hitting three different targets generates a large amount of blight, and the resulting Blighted Seekers bore through targets.

Acquisition

The Barrow-Dyad comes from the Derealize Exotic Mission, unlocked by The Taken Path Exotic quest. The artifact is picked up in the quest's final step, before the fight with Xir-Kuur aboard the Dreadnaught.
