Blood Guard Incendior

Overview

The Blood Guard Incendior is a major variant of the Incendior found in high commanding positions in the Red Legion. It is tougher than regular Incendiors thanks to superior armor and Absorption Shielding. Its Cabal Magma Launcher fires flame jets that leave fire pools and deal damage over time, and at close range it can launch a compression blast that pushes Guardians back.

Tactics

Long-range energy weapons are the recommended answer to its shielding and armor. Its fuel tanks can be shot to cause a large explosion, but the blast also damages Guardians standing nearby.

Appearances

It first appeared in Destiny 2, in Season of Dawn, Season of the Chosen and Season of Plunder. Its design later became the basis for the Unstoppable Incendior.
