Brand of the Initiate

Brand of the Initiate is a buff from the Warpriest encounter in King's Fall. It goes to the player who steps on the third plate in the glyph sequence and lasts 20 seconds.

Overview

The holder creates a red aura, and only Guardians inside the aura can damage the Warpriest. If the timer runs out, the Brand kills its holder.

Extending the Brand

A player with the Brand Claimer buff can steal the Brand from the holder shortly before it expires, which resets the timer. After two extensions the Brand expires safely.
