Briar's Contempt (Adept)

Overview

Briar's Contempt is a Legendary Solar Linear Fusion Rifle named for the Acolyte of Nezarec Briar. Its recommended PvE roll is Reconstruction with Focused Fury, and its recommended PvP roll is High-Impact Reserves with Keep Away. Rewind Rounds is also favored.

This is the Adept variant of Briar's Contempt, a harder-difficulty version of the weapon. It appears in the raid's Adept pool.

Acquisition

Drops from the Root of Nightmares raid (added with Lightfall). It drops from the first encounter (Cataclysm) and from the final boss's any-weapon pool. Every legendary weapon from the raid is craftable once its Deepsight pattern is unlocked (via the weekly puzzle or by spending Spoils of Conquest).
