CHAPTER 9: TRUCE

Overview

CHAPTER 9: TRUCE is a Lore book entry in the "Empress" book, which follows Empress Caiatl from childhood through the fall of Torobatl and the Cabal's exile. It was added in Season of the Chosen. This chapter (Truce): Caiatl decides to negotiate with Guardians rather than wage war to reclaim her forces.

How to complete

Empress lore entries are acquired by progressing the weekly "Contender's Ascent" seasonal challenges (parts I-VII), which unlock after finishing the Season of the Chosen narrative. In practice:

1. Finish the Season of the Chosen story quests first.
2. Each week, complete the next Contender's Ascent seasonal challenge (weapon-specific eliminations); each also grants War Table reputation and seasonal weapon rewards.
3. Read the new entry in the Empress Lore book after each completion.

Previous chapter: CHAPTER 8: EMPRESS.

This was a season-limited challenge line, so it may no longer be obtainable the same way.
