Cathedral of Scars

The Cathedral of Scars is an eight-player Gambit map set in the Vestian Web region of the Dreaming City.

Overview

It unlocked after the world's first Last Wish clear in Forsaken, was vaulted when Beyond Light launched, and returned with The Final Shape.

Layout

Three zones: the Caves (left), the Garden (right, with trees and Awoken walls) and the central Island with a large Awoken statue. Teleport gates link the Caves and Garden. The area has marble structures and white-barked trees.

How to play it

It is played through the Gambit playlist (two teams of four bank Motes from AI enemies and defeat a boss; players can invade the opposing team). The Dreaming City was Forsaken's endgame destination, and Last Wish, the six-player raid, opened on September 14, 2018.

History

Unlocked after the Last Wish world-first, vaulted with Beyond Light, and returned with The Final Shape (released June 4, 2024).
