History of Cayde-6

Overview

Cayde-6 was an Exo Hunter Vanguard stationed in the Tower, a Gunslinger partnered with the Ghost Sundance. He was once a human soldier, converted into an Exo by Clovis Bray on Europa. He became a Vanguard after the death of his friend Andal Brask.

He helped the Guardian infiltrate the Dreadnaught during the Taken War and fought in the Red War. He later captured Scorn Barons for the Prison of Elders.

Death

During the Prison of Elders breakout in the Reef, Scorn Barons destroyed his Ghost. Uldren Sov then shot him with his own Exotic hand cannon, the Ace of Spades, after Cayde taunted him about his sister. Cayde later returned as a Light construct in the Pale Heart and died a second time in the Witness's final battle. His last words were "How's your sister?"

Legacy

Cayde hid ten stashes across the system. His will leaves the Ace of Spades to whoever killed him.
