Summary
Vance's journal entries record a growing obsession with the Lighthouse's resonant hums. He finds that when Guardians suffer final death the Lighthouse produces a distinct tone, and after the Red War a new note appears when a Guardian dies as the Traveler's Light is stripped away, which he takes as validation.
