Clawing Back

Clawing Back is a Showdown triumph in Crucible: within a single round, retake the lead after trailing by 5 points. Progress is tracked as medals earned.

How to complete

Showdown is a 3v3 Crucible mode. Each round is won by reaching 10 kills first, a match is best of 5 rounds, and a tiebreaker round is played if the score is 2–2.

1. Queue Showdown from the Crucible playlists, where it is a permanent playlist.
2. Let the enemy get ahead by 5 points in a round.
3. Use revives to claw the gap back. Reviving a teammate removes one point from the enemy's score, so each revive counts twice in a close round.
4. Keep the pressure on until your score passes theirs within the same round. The lead must come back before the round ends.

Tips: Stay grouped with your teammates so you can revive quickly, and push when the enemy is close to 10 kills. The comeback has to happen inside one round, so a round you have already lost does not count.
