Close the Gap

Overview

Close the Gap is the intrinsic of Devil's Ruin, an Exotic Solar Sidearm. Final blows create Firesprites. After collecting one, the weapon can enter a high-powered Solar laser mode. Holding the trigger charges the laser, which fully refills the magazine and staggers targets; it is listed as strong against Unstoppable Champions.

Empty the magazine with normal shots, then finish with the beam. Firing the beam leaves the magazine empty, so a reload is needed afterwards. Sources differ on the activation input (Alternate Weapon Action or Reload), so check your controls. The weapon is sold at the Monument to Lost Lights.
