History of Cloudstrike Catalyst

Overview

A triumph for the Cloudstrike Exotic sniper rifle catalyst: defeat 400 combatants with Cloudstrike (Targets defeated 0/400).

How to complete

1. Get the catalyst first. It is a random drop at the end of core playlist activities (Crucible, Gambit, Vanguard strikes). Competitive drop rates improved in Update 7.3.5.
2. Insert it, then get 400 kills with Cloudstrike. Any activity counts.
3. Farming options: the Shuro Chi checkpoint in Last Wish (many enemies die at once from the lightning-storm perk) or the opening of Grasp of Avarice; bring Raid Banners (from Hawthorne in the Tower) and ammo-finder/reserve mods, since snipers are awkward in PvE.

Rewards

The catalyst adds the Triple Tap perk (three precision hits return a bullet to the magazine) and +25 Handling.
