History of Commendations

Overview

Commendations is a triumph for thanking other players in Vanguard Ops. Game text: "Commend other players in Vanguard Ops." The objective is Commendations sent (0/2). It is an early Guardian Ranks-era style objective; the seal or category it sits under is not stated in the pages I opened, and no reward is listed in the game text.

How to complete

1. Finish a Vanguard Ops activity with other players (matchmade strikes etc.).
2. On the mission summary screen, select a teammate and pick a commendation card (D2 Wiki). The game text says you can bring the summary up early by pressing the Back button during the end-of-mission countdown.
3. Send two commendations in total. Rules (D2 Wiki): one of each card per activity, one commendation per player per activity, you cannot commend players who have left, and you cannot reopen the summary once the next activity begins.

Tips

Send both in one run to a pair of teammates (different players) so you are not at the mercy of the countdown. Cards come in four groups: Ally, Fun, Mastery and Leadership (Hard Drive).
