History of Compact Defender

Overview

The Compact Defender is a Legendary Sidearm that deals Void damage. It has the Dynamic Heat Weapon intrinsic, which gives higher base damage and extra damage against powerful combatants, and vents heat on reload. Its flavor text reads: "Perception is a metaphysical construct."

The weapon is part of the Lawless Frontier gear set introduced with Destiny 2: Renegades in Season 28, alongside All or Nothing.

Acquisition

The Compact Defender drops from the Renegades (activity).
