Companions

'''Companions''' is a Lore book introduced in The Final Shape. Its entries unlock by completing the Convalescence quest series from Micah's Conduit offered by Micah-10.

The book has five entries, each narrated from the point of view of a Ghost or its Guardian:

• '''HE WAKES''': a newly awakened Ghost explores and sets out to find the Guardian it is meant to serve.
• '''SHE RISES''': the Ghost restores a Guardian's remains found on a shore. The Guardian takes its first breath and is told it can choose where to go.
• '''HE SEES''': the pair climbs a mountain overlooking the Traveler, and the Guardian calls the Ghost its home.
• '''SHE FALLS''': the Ghost dies. The Guardian buries it beneath a tree and continues alone.
• '''HE DREAMS''': Cayde-6 recounts his return from a final death as a dream-like experience of the Traveler. He wakes alone and mourns Sundance, his Ghost.
