History of Composite Propellant

Overview

Composite Propellant is the intrinsic on Dragon's Breath, an Exotic rocket launcher. The launcher builds fuel while it sits unfired, up to five stacks (mid-2026 values: one stack every six seconds, with a short cooldown after each shot). The next rocket carries that fuel. Rockets stick to what they hit and release incendiary pools that apply Scorch. At full stacks the rocket leaves a napalm trail that applies more Scorch.

Composite Propellant is an area-damage tool: the fuel is good at clearing groups and burning Staggered Unstoppable Champions, and a poor fit for boss damage. High Octane is the weapon's other exotic perk. The Pyromancer catalyst speeds up fuel regeneration.
