Crossroads

Overview

Crossroads is a Crucible map in the Lost Oasis on Mars. It was added with The Taken King, the first expansion for the original Destiny. The map is built around a Vex Pyramidion, the structure the Vex use to turn planets into Machine Worlds, which stands on the horizon.

Layout

Transit between the two ends of the map is described differently in sources: as twin launchers that carry Guardians across the map, or as teleporters and lifts that take players from the main body of the map to a small island.

Lore

The Lost Oasis shares its name and its Pyramidion with the Lost Oasis on Io, a Destiny 2 Patrol region, so the two are often confused. Petrified plant life beside the Vex ruins suggests a lusher period for Mars, though no record confirms when that was.
