History of Crown-Splitter

Overview

Crown-Splitter is the Titan class sword, a Legendary Void Sword whose intrinsic is Heavy Guard. Destinypedia lists 73 Impact and a perk pool that includes Tireless Blade, Vorpal Weapon, Whirlwind Blade, Surrounded and Thresh. The inscription is Callisto Yin's: "Our enemies think themselves gods and kings. Show them the error of their ways."

It sits beside Quickfang (Hunter) and Eternity's Edge (Warlock). Like them it was class-locked until Episode: Heresy removed weapon class restrictions.

Acquisition

The game text says to complete the campaign as a Titan, but the sword became widely available in Season of the Splicer. GosuNoob describes it as a random world drop, with Banshee-44 the most dependable source, plus Umbral Engrams, Legendary Engrams and reputation rewards from Lord Shaxx and Commander Zavala.
