History of Crown of Tempests

Overview

Crown of Tempests is an Exotic Warlock helmet from Season 1. Its intrinsic perk Conduction Tines makes Arc ability kills increase your Arc ability recharge rate and extend Stormtrance duration. Earlier wording also mentioned jolted target kills. Patch 6.3.0.3 stopped it giving ability energy on non-Arc subclasses. Ornaments include Crown Joules, Diadem of Deceit and Sovereign Signal.

Acquisition

• Exotic Engrams as a random drop (listed in game as "Exotic engrams; extremely rare world drops").
• Xûr, the weekend vendor, sells it occasionally for 23 Legendary Shards.
• Once you own it, the Exotic Kiosk lets you reacquire a lost copy.
• The item data links it to the exotic quest Taming the Storm (Ikora Rey, Arc subclass quest).
