Cryptic Quatrains

'''Cryptic Quatrains''' are a series of treasure-hunt quests from Season of Plunder. Each one is a riddle in verse whose highlighted words point to a destination, and the chain ends at a buried treasure. The first installment, Cryptic Quatrains I, begins when a Star Chart rank reward grants the Small Treasure Beacon at rank 7 on the H.E.L.M..

Overview

The riddles are solved by stringing together the highlighted words. Each step sends the player to a specific place: a Moon destination, a Lost Sector, a Cosmodrome strike and finally Europa.

Walkthrough

1. Solve the first riddle to find the Moon as the destination.
2. Go to Sorrow's Harbor and play the K1 Revelation lost sector. Loot the chest after the final boss to advance.
3. The next riddle points to the Fallen SABER strike in the Cosmodrome. Select it from the Cosmodrome location map rather than waiting for it in Vanguard strikes.
4. The final riddle leads to the Eventide Ruins on Europa. Find the two cranes near the landing zone, then the snow pile behind the nearby boulder. Interact with it to dig up the treasure.

Rewards

The Cryptic Quatrains I treasure gives five map fragments, a piece of seasonal armor and a Crude Cypher fragment.
