History of Cunning Is Strength

Overview

Cunning Is Strength is a triumph in Destiny 2 earned in the mission The Cunning on Savathûn's Throne World. You must find the Drake Tank during the escape and destroy every Abomination on the way out.

How to complete

1. Finish The Witch Queen campaign first. The mission is unlocked from Savathûn's Throne World: go under Quagmire, choose Normal Campaign, then Customize, and select the sixth mission, The Cunning.
2. Play the mission through to the boss. The escape starts when the Ahamkara's final blow causes a green haze. You must finish within the escape timer.
3. During the "Escape the Caldera" objective, use Deepsight to reach the top of the stairs, where Pike vehicles are available. Drive along the linear path. After the gap jump, head right to find the Drake Tank.
4. Get into the Drake Tank. Entering it spawns an Invasive Abomination, which takes about two missile shots to kill.
5. Continue across the bridge toward the objective, using the tank's missiles on the Invasive Abominations that spawn along the way. There are five on the linear path.
6. Keep moving to the objective and focus on Abominations. Other enemies can be ignored if the timer is tight.

Tips and open issues

• Do not spend time clearing non-Abomination enemies with the tank, because the timer runs out quickly.
• Some players report that the last two Abominations spawn past a small doorway at the end of the bridge that the tank cannot fit through, while another reply says the tank can be taken all the way to the lift.
