Data Nullifier

Overview

The Data Nullifier is a Vex Hydra of the Sol Collective with an Ultra rank. It first appeared in Season of Defiance.

Encounter

It is the boss of the second encounter in NODE.OVRD.AVALON. It starts behind a data wall and only leaves that position after the Guardian survives two deletion attempts. Its attacks include Aeon Maul shots and close-range Temporal Shockwaves, while Harpies arrive through portals and Quantum Harpies teleport onto the arena's four pillars.

When it loses two-fifths of its health it retreats behind its barrier and a new deletion cycle begins. On its return, Quantum Minotaurs join the reinforcements, and it fights until destroyed.

Lore

The Data Nullifier tried to delete the Guardian along with unwanted data in the Variant Security Protocol node of the Vex Network, at the Corrupted Data Management area. The attempt failed and it was destroyed.

Triumph

Overclock's Ticking requires completing NODE.OVRD.AVALON in under 30 minutes. The limit covers the whole activity rather than this fight alone, so the phase transitions are where time is most easily lost.
