History of Delicate Tomb

Delicate Tomb is an Arc Fusion Rifle Exotic introduced as a Season Pass reward in Season of Plunder.

Overview

Its exotic perk, Traitor's Vessel, fires a wide horizontal spread when shot from the hip. Final blows with it have a chance to generate Ionic Traces, and powerful foes and opposing Guardians always generate them. Picking up Ionic Traces is the weapon's core loop.

Acquisition

• Season Pass (historical): it was a reward in the Season of Plunder pass, at rank 1 on the premium track or rank 35 on the free track.
• Exotic Archive at the Tower: after the season ended it moved to the Monument to Lost Lights Exotic Archive, listed under the Witch Queen Exotics tab.

Catalyst

Talk to Banshee-44 in the Tower to start the quest The Form of the Danger. Steps (per Shacknews and Gamer Rant): defeat 50 targets with Special ammo weapons including minibosses and Champions; then complete playlist activities (Nightfalls, Crucible, Gambit) while getting Delicate Tomb kills, with Guardian final blows being fastest; then collect the catalyst from Banshee-44 and charge it with 700 defeats using the weapon. The catalyst adds Ionic Interment: collecting an Ionic Trace partially reloads the magazine from reserves. GameSpot headlined the quest as bugged at launch; this may have been fixed since.
