Descent

Overview

Descent is an encounter in the Deep Stone Crypt raid. It is the encounter tied to the Of All Trades raid challenge.

Of All Trades

To complete Of All Trades, every player must use each of the three augments (Scanner, Operator and Suppressor) at least once during Descent. The encounter ends after six sets of Nuclear Cores are deposited, so each player gets six chances to pick up an augment.

Players must hold an augment for the whole round and swap only after both Nuclear Cores are deposited. Depositing an augment before the Nuclear Cores are in, or before the previous augment has been deactivated, fails the challenge. Players who have used an augment usually sit out the following round so the Augment Lockout debuff can wear off. Completing the challenge gives an extra chest of rewards in the raid.

Descent is one of the encounters that must be cleared for Electric Sheep, which requires finishing all raid encounters with a fireteam made up entirely of Arc subclasses.
