Devrim Kay

Overview

Devrim Kay VIII is a human sniper and scout of the European Dead Zone (EDZ), with a background in the City Militia and membership in the Royal Awoken Guard. He runs a church outpost in Trostland and is known for his heroics under fire. He is the adoptive father of Suraya Hawthorne and is on good terms with Saint-14, Eva Levante, Commander Zavala and Cayde-6. Mara Sov later dubbed him a Queensguard.

Location

He stands on the top floor of the church in front of the landing zone in Trostland, EDZ.

Quests

He appears in the Red War campaign, where he works with Suraya to gather refugees at The Farm in the EDZ, in the quests "A New Frontier," "Calling Them Home," "Poor Reception," "A Frame Job" and "Combustion." In Forsaken's "Last Call" he encourages the Guardian to honor Cayde-6. In Unbroken Defiance he helps plan the rescue of Amanda Holliday from a Shadow Legion prison and then joins the Guardian in destroying the Shadow Legion ship in the Ascendant Realm. He is referenced in Season of the Haunted lore, and Beyond Light mentions him only in passing.

Vendor

He sells one Wildwood armor set per class (Titan, Hunter and Warlock) for 25 Legendary Shards and 1,000 Glimmer each, at the Power floor. He also sells the EDZ Shell ghost shell, Dead Zone Camo, Kay's Command and Trostland Terminus emblems. As of version 6.3.0 he offers four daily bounties, up from three, and the EDZ reputation system and sunset weapon sales were removed. Earlier he took EDZ Tokens and Dusklight Crystals and rewarded EDZ Engrams through reputation.
