History of Disappointment

Overview

Disappointment is a Triumph in Destiny 2 listed in the Legend title triumphs. It requires decrypting 10 engrams at the Cryptarch. Focused Decoding does not count toward it.

How to complete

1. Collect engrams. Since Season 21, Exotic engrams no longer auto-decrypt and sit in your engram inventory, so you decrypt them yourself, per Blueberries.
2. Take the engrams to the Cryptarch and decrypt 10 of them using standard decryption.
3. Do not use Focused Decoding. TheGamer states: “Do not use focused decoding, as it gives no progress towards this Triumph.” Focused Decoding is the paid option that directs an engram toward a specific Exotic, and it is done with Master Rahool at the Tower.

Tips

• Decrypt the engrams you already own before you spend currency on focusing. Only the standard decryption counts.
• Keep track of your count in the triumph progress bar as you go; it only moves on standard decryptions.
