Focused Decoding

Focused Decoding is the engram-style weapon and armor focusing system on Kepler, introduced with The Edge of Fate. It is done at the Altar of Relativity.

How it works

Each decode costs Fated Ciphers plus a region material that changes daily, which can be Phaseglass Refractions, Alkane Mutation, Timelost Spirit Bloom or Nine-Touched Relic Iron; the exact amounts depend on which Kepler engram you focus. Focusing lets you aim at specific Kepler gear instead of relying on random drops, for example the Void Shotgun Precipial.

Getting Fated Ciphers

The main sources of Fated Ciphers are The Sieve, Time Latch mission replays and general Kepler encounters, exploration and kills.
