History of Dissent

Overview

Dissent is the sixth mission of the Destiny 2: The Final Shape campaign (step 24 of "The Final Shape" quest), set in The Pale Heart. Commander Zavala has left camp alone to give himself to the Darkness; the Guardian and his Ghost Targe must find him. Variants: Normal, Cooperative Focus Campaign, Legendary.

Walkthrough

1. Go beneath the giant skull and climb the linear path to an open area.
2. Fight waves and interact with Veiled Statues so Targe can commune. The Howling Plague of the Witness debuff blocks double jumps and healing.
3. Bosses: Tempest's Beloved, Devoted Acolytes and Devoted Commander, then the Pillar of Devotion (kill Subjugators to break its shield).
4. Escape across vanishing paths and reach Zavala for the cutscene.

Next: support Zavala at the Refuge of Endings, then the Iconoclasm questline.
