History of Do You Desire This Trinket, O Vengeance Mine?

Overview

Do You Desire This Trinket, O Vengeance Mine? is a Triumph in Destiny 2 that requires you to earn the Buried Bloodline Exotic Sidearm from the Warlord's Ruin dungeon. Completing it awards 20 score.

How to complete

1. Run the Warlord's Ruin dungeon and defeat the final boss, Hefnd's Vengeance. Buried Bloodline drops only from this encounter.
2. Expect a low drop rate. Community data puts the base chance at about 5%, and Bungie has not published official rates. Per a 2024 guide, a dungeon exotic can be rolled once per character per week when the dungeon is not the weekly featured activity, and the rules may have changed since.
3. Raise your odds with the Warlord's Ruin triumphs. Each one adds to the drop chance: Heed The Whispers, O Vengeance Mine (find 10 Ahamkara bones in the dungeon), She Stood Alone, O Vengeance Mine (complete the dungeon solo without leaving the activity) and Withstand The Siege, O Vengeance Mine (complete each encounter on Master difficulty).
4. Repeat the final boss on each eligible character each week until the drop lands.

Tips

• Roll on every eligible character each week, since each one gets its own attempt.
• Finish the three bonus triumphs before you farm for the drop, so every run carries the extra chance.
• The catalyst for Buried Bloodline is a separate task that requires the Buried Bloodline weapon first.
