Heed the Whispers, O Vengeance Mine

Overview

"Heed the Whispers, O Vengeance Mine" is a Triumph in Destiny 2 tied to the Warlord's Ruin dungeon. It requires the player to find the ten Ahamkara bones (the bones of Hefnd) hidden throughout the dungeon and hear the story attached to each one. Completing it awards 10 Score.

How to complete

The bones are behind the dungeon's door progression, so the quest In the Shadow of the Mountain comes first.

1. Start In the Shadow of the Mountain and collect Dark Ether Tinctures from yellow-bar Screebs to advance it. Expect to use a lot of tincture, so plan on several runs.
2. Get the tenth bone first. It is the only bone with no door: after the final boss, Hefnd's Vengeance, check beside the final loot chest on the left.
3. Work through the tiered doors. Completing quest step 4 opens the Tier 1 doors, step 5 opens Tier 2, and step 6 opens Tier 3. Bones 1, 2 and 7 are behind Tier 1 doors, bones 3, 5 and 6 behind Tier 2, and bones 4, 8 and 9 behind Tier 3.
4. Bone 1 is past the rope bridge before the first boss, beyond Scorn. Bone 2 is past the prison escape and the spike-trap maze.
5. Once you reach the higher-tier doors, the other bones are found along the route up the mountain. Listen to each bone's story to register it.

Tips

• A fireteam member who can open higher-tier doors can open them for the group, so you can collect bones early.
• Spike traps line the walls in the maze. Jump over the hole near bone 7 rather than dropping into it.
• The numbering of the middle bones can be inconsistent, so confirm each door's tier when you reach it rather than relying on the numbering alone.

Rewards

Finishing the triumph adds progress toward the Wrathbearer title and raises the drop chance of the Exotic sidearm Buried Bloodline.
