History of Double Struck

Overview

Double Struck is a Triumph in Destiny 2. The objective requires the player to defeat two opponents in a single activation of the Gathering Storm Super. Progress is tracked as Medals earned.

How to complete

Gathering Storm is a Hunter super. The Hunter jumps into the air, then throws an arc staff at a spot, damaging and shocking nearby enemies. The staff then lodges onto a target and keeps dealing area damage.

1. Equip Gathering Storm as your Super on a Hunter.
2. Wait until the super is charged, then activate it in an area with several enemies.
3. Use the throw to hit the first opponent, then let the lodged staff's area damage finish a second one while the super is still active.
4. Both defeats must happen during the same activation. A second super is a new activation and does not carry the count over.

Tips

• Throw at a cluster rather than a single target, since the staff's area damage can reach more than one enemy.
• Do not spend the super on a lone enemy. The triumph needs two defeats in one activation.
