History of Down to the Wire

Overview

Down to the Wire is a Triumph in Destiny 2 that requires the player to win an Iron Banner match in overtime. Completing this triumph awards one Medal.

How to complete

1. Participate in an Iron Banner event, which runs for one week.
2. Play Iron Banner matches. They are a Crucible mode played as a variant of Control in which power play is replaced with the Hunt, and gear is not leveled.
3. Keep the match close until it goes into overtime.
4. Win the match during the overtime period.

Each victory in an Iron Banner match also rewards five Iron Banner tokens, so the same matches progress the event's token rewards.
