Drekh

The Drekh are a lower Eliksni caste of laborers and fighters. The Winterdrekh, a group tied to the House of Winter, live in icy warrens beneath the surface of Europa, where the radiation is severe.

The Winterdrekh are the group that Namrask joins in Achilles Weaves a Cocoon. The House of Winter Dregs Eoriks, Oeriks and Yriks are confined to a small warren with little hope of survival, and Namrask is placed there with them. Namrask teaches the young Drekh hatchlings to weave, uses tools to connect the icy tunnels between habitats, and weaves hollowhot matting to insulate them. Ether is scarce, and the group gives the hatchlings most of their supply. Eoriks and Oeriks are killed in a Vex attack, and Namrask shelters the surviving hatchlings.
