Overview

Echo of Undermining is a Void Fragment, not an aspect. Equipping it makes Void grenades apply Weaken. Weakened targets take increased damage and have their movement speed slowed, and they have trouble aiming accurately. The fragment carries a -20 Discipline penalty.

Use in quests

Echo of Undermining is one of several ways to apply Weaken, and it is not required. The weaken step of Into the Abyss can be progressed with any ability, aspect, fragment or gear that has the Weaken keyword. The quest's separate step that requires Chaos Accelerant is a purchase from Ikora Rey, and that aspect is not needed for the weaken step.
