Empowering Rift

Empowering Rift is a Warlock class ability available to all Warlock subclasses. It conjures a glowing circular well of power with white energy swirling inside.

Effects

• Increased weapon damage for Guardians inside.
• Faster ability energy regeneration (grenade, melee, class ability).
• Kills inside generate extra ammo progress.

The cooldown is about 1:59. The Rift lasts 15 seconds with a 5 m radius and grants 20% damage (15% in PvP). Following the Renegades changes, Rifts can be cast while moving. The ability has been retuned across patches, so these values may have changed.

It is the offensive counterpart of Healing Rift and is used by fireteams in Raid damage phases.
