History of Empowering Rift

Empowering Rift is a Warlock class ability available to all Warlock subclasses. It conjures a glowing circular well of power with white energy swirling inside.

Effects

• Increased weapon damage for Guardians inside.
• Faster ability energy regeneration (grenade, melee, class ability).
• Kills inside generate extra ammo progress.

Destinypedia lists a cooldown of about 1:59. A search summary of light.gg lists a 15-second duration, 5 m radius and 20% damage (15% in PvP), with Rifts castable while moving after the Renegades changes. Since the ability has been retuned across patches, check in-game values.

It is the offensive counterpart of Healing Rift and is used by fireteams in Raid damage phases.
