Quick attacks immediately after swapping to this sword do additional damage.
Overview
En Garde rewards a fast opening with a Sword. Swapping to the sword and landing a quick attack gives extra damage: +30% damage on light attacks for 1.5 seconds. The sword must be stowed for 1 second before the perk can trigger again.
It is a sword-only perk. Players use it on swords built for quick hits, such as Honor's Edge and Future Safe 10. The bonus was +50% before 2.8.0, when it was reduced to +30%.
