Energy Transfer
Guarding while receiving damage generates class ability energy.
Overview
Energy Transfer is a Weapon Perk on Swords. While you guard and take damage, the perk charges your Class Ability energy. The more damage you absorb while guarding, the more energy you gain.
Where it appears
Energy Transfer is a trait on several swords, including Caretaker, Nasreddin, Just in Case, Bequest and Sola's Scar. It was added in Season 7.
Balance
Patch 2.8.0 lowered the ability energy this perk generates, because guarding no longer consumes ammo.
Use
It rewards sword builds that block often. Each block that absorbs damage feeds your class ability.
